The UN General Debate opens Tuesday. President Trump speaks that day. Iran’s Masoud Pezeshkian speaks Wednesday. Prime Minister Netanyahu is down for Thursday, 24 September, then a short hop home. A U.S. official told Israeli outlets a Trump–Netanyahu meeting is not on the New York schedule and is unlikely to be squeezed in. Trump leaves the city before Netanyahu arrives.
A planned Texas stop — SpaceX, Elon Musk — was cancelled after an advance team had already gone. Netanyahu’s entire U.S. visit is now measured in hours. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, denied a U.S. visa for a second year, will address the assembly by video from Ramallah on the same day as Netanyahu.
The General Assembly will be a stage, not a negotiation. The warrant, the ICC fight, and the election at home travel with him.
